I'll be giving tips & tricks for finding a good agent, but also some tips for finding a really great agent who will help sell/buy your property faster than anyone else would... in 2 years' time. I've spoken face-to-face with dozens of agents since my hometown became the capital city of the state! A few of them had incredible knowledge and experience, and they made me feel like I was talking to my own brother instead of just another client. But most weren't worth anything close to those few exceptional ones. And that was because none cared enough about making me happy while trying to convince potential buyers or sellers that they should buy or sell their places from them. Not every seller needs someone with a strong "people" skill level; however, having excellent communication skills and being able to talk people through complex transactions is critical to getting the job done quickly without headaches or frustration.
