She went beyond her job description by negotiating the price down, making repairs, staging the house, and taking photos to really bring the house alive online. They ended up getting close to 3 times the amount offered by another buyer and she got them over 100 thousand dollars more than the highest offer. So if you decide to go the traditional route and find yourself paying full commission to multiple agents then ask yourself why aren’t you doing better? Why isn’t your agent giving you something extra? Is it because they simply haven’t worked long enough in the industry yet? Or did they choose a different career path? Whatever the case may be, there’s always someone else working harder trying to get the same result that you should be working for YOURSELF!

I recommend talking to friends and family members first if possible. Most people love to talk and if they can tell that your agent is listening carefully to EVERYTHING said, they’ll definitely have some great things to say! Ask questions like;
1.) Can you describe my agent? Tell me what you liked and disliked about them. Were their strengths and weaknesses obvious to you right away? If so, what made you pick them specifically instead of anyone else?
